“Evening Delight” is a 50″ x 75″ photograph on canvas. This tranquil Southern Appalachian sunset was captured in mid-June as a summer shower faded. Colorful Catawba Rhododendron (named after the brilliant hues of the pink gemstone, Rhodalite) bloom in the foreground, adding a pop of pink to the traditional Appalachian blues. This image is printed on archival canvas, using archival inks and sprayed with two coats of a protective laminate so it will last for generations to come.
