by Adam Monroe, Trails and Facilities Volunteer Coordinator for Great Smoky Mountains National Park
I’d like to invite you to join fellow stewards of Great Smoky Mountains NP for upcoming workdays. I have a variety of events planned for September.
This is an awesome time to be out in the park! I will provide tools, safety gear, and instruction at each project site. No experience necessary. We will be working hard physically with hand tools mostly to improve erosion on the trails. Please let me know if you can make it by replying via email or giving me a phone call. Details below!
I am especially trying to recruit for a special event I am hosting for National Public Lands Day, Saturday, Sept. 24th.
