James M. Hart
Jim is President of Friends of the Smokies and has been with the organization for 13 years. He is currently involved with the Knoxville community through Home Federal Bank, Friends of Young Williams Animal Shelter, and East Tennessee Historical Society. He has been married to his wife Jan for 50 years and has three children and three grandchildren.
Nan is Friends of the Smokies Chief Financial Officer. She has worked with the organization for 14 years and attended Carson-Newman University and Walter State Community College.
Lauren is the Special Projects Director and has worked at Friends of the Smokies for 13 years. She graduated from Samford University. Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and sons Anderson and Link.
Holly Scott Jones
Holly is the Director of Community Outreach & Strategy and has been with Friends of the Smokies for 12 years. A lover of the outdoors, Holly enjoys kayaking and hiking with her husband Billy and dogs Annie Mae and Raylan.
Sarah has been the Director of Development at Friends of the Smokies for eight years. She earned a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Tennessee and enjoys spending time with fiber arts.
Brent is the Director of Marketing. He has worked with Friends of the Smokies for two years, previously as AmeriCorps Outreach Associate in the North Carolina office. Brent earned his Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia.
Anna Lee Zanetti
Anna Lee is the North Carolina Director. She has worked with Friends of the Smokies for two years, first as Outreach & Development Associate in the North Carolina office. Anna Lee earned her Bachelors degree in sustainable development from Appalachian State University.
Kenna is the Office and Special Projects Coordinator. She has worked with Friends of the Smokies for one year. Kenna earned degrees in photography and consumer services from Carson-Newman University.
Marielle is the Outreach & Development Associate in our North Carolina office. She earned her B.A. in American Studies from University of North Carolina in 2015. Marielle enjoys spending her free time outdoors and is an avid hiker.
